Information you may provide
Contact enquiries
If you use the contact form, the site processes your name, email address, enquiry type, subject, message, and your acknowledgement of this notice. The information is used only to receive, assess, and respond to your enquiry, and to maintain necessary correspondence.
The form is delivered through FormSubmit, an external form-processing service, before it reaches Bernard’s email inbox. Do not include passwords, financial information, medical records, government identifiers, or other sensitive information.
Nario AI
If you open Nario AI and submit a prompt, the text you provide, a bounded recent conversation, relevant saved memories, and relevant project context may be processed through Google Firebase AI Logic and Google’s Gemini service to produce a response. Nario does not send every previous chat with every request. Firebase Authentication may create a pseudonymous identity, and App Check may use reCAPTCHA-based signals to reduce automated abuse. Do not share confidential, sensitive, or directly identifying information in the assistant.
Optional analytics and local storage
With permission, Firebase Analytics records aggregated interaction information such as page views, service-page visits, publication opens, and contact-form submission events. Contact-form content is not sent as an analytics event. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” preference, the site defaults to essential-only mode.
The browser stores your analytics choice, Nario window position, conversations, selected model and performance profile, concise conversation summaries, and memory/project records in site-specific storage. When available, Nario also synchronizes this information to Firestore under a pseudonymous Firebase user identifier so the same browser identity can restore it. Firestore security rules restrict each identity to its own records. The Memory panel lets you disable retrieval or delete saved memory, and individual conversations can be renamed or deleted.
Purpose and legal basis
Information is processed to respond to actions you request, operate and secure the website, prevent abuse, and—only with consent—understand how the site is used. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, these purposes rely on your consent, steps taken at your request, legitimate security and communication interests, or another lawful basis available under applicable data-protection law.
Sharing, international processing, and retention
Information is shared only with service providers needed for the relevant feature, including Firebase/Google for hosting, pseudonymous authentication, Firestore synchronization, optional analytics, App Check, and Nario AI responses; and FormSubmit and email infrastructure for contact enquiries. These providers may process information outside your country under their own data-protection terms.
Direct enquiries are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate professional records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Nario records remain until you delete them through the assistant, clear this site’s browser data, or the service applies a retention or account-deletion policy. Analytics retention and provider security logs are governed by the configured service settings and provider terms.
Your choices and rights
You may choose essential-only mode, withdraw analytics permission at any time, disable or delete Nario memory, delete individual conversations, avoid Nario AI, or contact Bernard directly by email or telephone instead of using the form. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection concerning personal information held directly by Bernard.

Security and changes
The site uses encrypted HTTPS delivery, restrictive hosting headers, input limits, bot checks, and access controls intended to reduce common risks. No online service can guarantee absolute security. This notice may be updated when website features or providers change; the date at the top identifies the current version.
